Amway women

BWW/Amway guys usually criticize women a lot, because they claim women pull men down with their words.

Women are usually more intuitive than men. They can feel that something is not right with Amway, whereas men are usually blind to feelings. Women are more perceptive. Many women can feel that the way Amway business is being built is not right. Also they can accept the fact that Amway does not produce the income that is promised at the open meetings in the promised time frame for 99.99999% of the people. Men usually have a big ego and cannot accept facts as they are. While "facts don't count" thinking helps in many cases, in Amway's case, it works against you.

To make people stay in the business, the BWW diamonds keep bombarding the male IBOs with statements like the following:

"Your wife is at the same income level as you are. If you listen to her, you will be at her level. So quit listening to her. Listen to your upline."

"Are you the man in the house? Or are you the mouse in the house? Are you in control of your family or are you letting your wife control it?"

"Women are short-term thinkers. Men are long-term thinkers. So if your wife is complaining about not making money with Amway today, don't worry about it. You know that this will work for you long term..."

I can also remember listening to such vulgar statements (Oh, Bill Britt claims there is no vulgarity in BWW, but he himself says these):

"If you are listening to your wife more than your upline, then you get her pink panties and put them on... Is your pant zipper in the front or on the side?"

and on and on and on...

Men like hearing such statements, because it gives them a feeling of importance. Women can see these statements as manipulation, but in most cases they have to keep quiet.

IBO men! Wake up! If your income sucks after 1 or 2 years of whatever work you are able to do in Amway, then quit wasting your life in Amway! You will be a lot more happier!

  1. Good post! Need to add that women are supposed to blindly follow their husband even if he doesn't know where he's going even if they believe it to be harmful to the family or marriage. If your wife doesn't like what you're doing - ignore her. It's not the 1800's anymore but join up with Amway if putting up with male chauvinist pigs turns your crank.

  2. If the woman is not stronger than her husband, then she goes through the following:

Initially no lady wants her husband doing Amway, so she protests.

If the husband gets excited after the plan, he fights back.

The lady then thinks let him have it his way and he will figure out this won't work and will quit soon.

The lady then thinks why not see what her husband is up to. She tries to attend the meetings and functions with her husband. That is where she also gets slowly brain washed. She may relate to one or two ladies in the meetings and will get emotionally bonded.

Then the lady thinks it may be OK to "help" her husband.

Anyone who has shown some plans knows that it is not "show 10, sponsor 2" - it is like "show 100, sponsor 2"... the lady figures out the Amway thingy is not what it is cracked up to be.

She again fights with her husband.

The husband shouts more than her and that is when the lady finally resigns to her fate.

The final stage for most Amway ladies is this -

a quiet state of accepting her fate!

She knows this thing would never work, her husband is not going to quit and her home will be worse if she protests. So she simply puts a smile on her face, acts like she is excited, talks well with people at the meetings - but inside, she has given up already. She does not do retail, there are no more IBOs joining, the PV stays at 100 for several years, she does not really read or listen to the CDs - she is just hoping that her husband would quit out of his own choice!

I feel so sorry for so many ladies like this! Their eyes and sighs tell it all!

The men are just hard headed (like how I was) and keep ploughing ahead in the Amway desert, hoping to reap the impossible harvest some day!

  3. Have you seen the latest Achieve Magazine from Amway? Holly and Barry Chen are on the cover. BTW, they built it to Diamond together, and then he said he was done, but then Holly built it all the way to Crown Ambassador, with 70 FAAs. Anyway, the issue is devoted to "Women of Amway."
Page after page of highlighting women, at all levels, of the Amway Business.
The magazine was recently mailed to all IBOs, and the electronic edition should be online soon.
It's really an inspiring issue, and I think good for those who are in LOAs who might not necessarily get this perspective.
